Storm is based on Debian so the they should have the same programs.  I use
pon to connect to efn.  You configure it with pppconfig. Pon is nice but
once it disconects you have to manually start "pon efn" again at the
command line prompt.  I've also use wvdial and had to set the suid on
wvdial.  Wvdial automatically redials when disconected.  I hope this
