Gee, whom you gonna trust, someone who's been in the industry for
many years or a mega-corp?
Last I checked, airtime for most Geostationary brids was around $50/hour for
56k uplinks and SatPhone rates were
like $4.00/minute.
What changed? Nothing!
They aren't being 100% truthful with you. a)most connsumers are incapable of
setting up and maintaining microwave uplinks, b) most satellites are 70%
downlink, 5% up, 20% reserve and 5% maintenance.
