I use G/K/enlightenment on suse, but I think this is somewhat standard:
use alt-key binding while dragging windows to move them
ie, hold down the alt key whilst left-button-dragging anywhere in a
window; for me, it moves -- when alt is pressed, the window does not pass
along th mouse info to the program therein...
