Hi all, I've finally decided to throw Debian on a box to check it out. Do I really need to make _all_ those floppy images to do an ftp install, or is there a better way, like a mini iso image that can get me where I can ftp the rest of the stuff? I could download and burn the distribution to a CD, but that's seems like a big waste of bandwidth. BTW, you might want to visit http://expert.booksonline.com . They let me buy 4 books for $19.00, including shipping, and they have some *really* good computer titles. You gotta join a book club, but you only have to buy 1 more book within a year of joining, and their prices are as good or better than fatbrain or amazon-- the monthly selection choices they sent me were mostly 50% off cover. Unfortunately, no O'Reilly books.... Cheers, Dennis "Custard pies are a sort of esperanto: a universal language." --Noel Godin
