Hi Tim
I did a search on google.com. It seems to be a Amd K6-2 at 333mhz.
If I were you if you have windows 98 on it( This might work for Win 95
also.) Go to the control panel, double click on system, click on the device
manger tab and click on print...,
then click all devices and summary. This would be a starting point. with a
listing of what devices you have installed.
I tried a search on 5060 on compaq and got some interesting but I fear
incorrect information. Then bring the box down to one of the euglug group
meetings on thursday evenings. Bring any versions of linux you have, but if
you don't have any come anyway. I think the biggest problem might be the
video card/chip not knowing to much about the system. In which case the best
distribution is the one that works on it. We have several you can try.
