[EUG-LUG:604] Kernel 2.4.3 is it stable?

                Hi Gang,
        Just curious, is kernel 2.4.3 a stable release?  If I try to patch it into 
my current  (2.2.17-mdk21) kernel will I be able to "plug 'n play"?  Or do I 
need to wait for Mandrake to release it's version of 2.4.3?
