Hi Bob,

I recall that there is what looks like the outside of a cubicle in that training area.
What is that? Are those just partitions sitting there, or is there somehting behind
it? Perhaps we can move and utilize those partition to create a better space.

Definitely, I'd like to utilize some of those systems you have. I would come down a
day or two before and start setting up the systems. What I was thinking of as well
was to have a single computer act as a firewall between our local lan (the demo day
lan) and the external network we are piggybacking off.

This way we can say, "LOOK! There's our firewall. You can touch it!" We can have
'info sheets' on each computer that acts as a server. For instance if we were to use
my home computer, we could say, 'this is our firewall. It protects us from the
external lan. Ask us to show you how secure it is. Oh by the way, it's also
streaming mp3s, browsing the web, burning CDs and acting as a DNS server. Oh yeah,
it's a pentium 200 with 96mb of ram. ;)

'Look, here's our webserver. Connect to it with any of these machines here. Did we
mention that Xwindows isn't even on this computer? Oh yeah, this is a laptop pentium
100 with 16mb of ram and a pcmcia nic. Download star office (90mb) from it and see
how it handles.'

'Look here's a windows computer, see it plays nicely with the big linux servers. Good
boy!'
