Some things to think about... Speed: Will it be fast enough? Multiple users: Will you 
be able to give access to multiple users on partitions or partition on CD?

I have often thought of this same scenario... I think the big setback would be speed 
and the fact that if you are using the CD it would be locked and unavailable to other 
users or maybe even processes depending on what you are running from it, and what is 
tying to access it... I look forward to following this thread as it will certainly 
quench my curiosity on this subject.  Good luck!
