I was trying to configure my desktop a little and found some pretty nice
things gnome has and thought some of you migh be interested.

Each window can have a different bar on top. On the left side of the title bar
left click on that button. Scroll down to Frame style and pick another style.
You will notice that your bar has change to the one you like. This only works
until you close the window. If you want to the changes to be permament for
that paticular application you have to go to History then click remember
attributes.

I created a shortcut for a term window by going into gnome's control panel.
The toolbox on the panel. I went down to Sawfish window manager to Shortcuts.
Under Context global. I click insert a screen poped up I scrolled down to
xterm and then click on grab pressed ctrl x then clicked ok. clicked try.
Voilla ctrl x brings up a xterm window.

In the same shortcut menu you can configure just about everything. I
configured all my virtual desktops. I uesd the same the same shortcut place
but I used Active viewport grabed ctrl f1 and did the same for each row and
column. I can see why gnome doesn't define what you can do it lets you define
what you want to do.

I'll post any other cool gnome tricks when I find them.

The only thing I have found is having each virtual desktop (viewport) have a
different screens like KDE. If anyone knows how to do this please post it.
