Sorry I don't have time to investigate it for you now, but I think Mandrake has some problems getting DRI running by default... It will install the necessary packages and the XF86Config-4 file might look right, but there is (IIRC) one switch to make by hand and it will work (I speak of my memory of mandrake8 with xfree 4). I've been using debian for the past month or so, tho, so ymmv. cheers! ben PS - try searching mandrake's site for help with this problem. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- "slide" to www.euglug.org and benb.org ~ shanti ~ in lake'ch, my kin... Finally, I (this text) would be delighted to be included, in whole or in part, in your next discussion of self-reference. With that in mind, please allow me to appologize in advance for infecting you.
