100 Mbit Ethernet is a commodity. Any card will work fine. You
can pay a premium for the 3Com or Intel name, if you want to.

I've successfully used:

        Intel eepro100
        RealTek 8139
        DEC tulip (real and clones)
        3com 3c59x

Seth and Mike have an issue with the tulip -- something about the
driver not reinitializing right on a soft reboot, but I do not know
the details.

Stan has Realtek-based cards for $20.
