100 Mbit Ethernet is a commodity. Any card will work fine. You
can pay a premium for the 3Com or Intel name, if you want to.
I've successfully used:
Intel eepro100
RealTek 8139
DEC tulip (real and clones)
3com 3c59x
Seth and Mike have an issue with the tulip -- something about the
driver not reinitializing right on a soft reboot, but I do not know
the details.
Stan has Realtek-based cards for $20.
