Hey Rob, Can you RPM? I know the die-hards hate RPMs but doing it that way with the source RPM and the GLX driver is the easiest way gauranteed. If not, the mod you want should be nvidia.o and not nv.o. The trick is getting the NVIDIA driver versus the NV driver for your hardware accelerated OpenGL which just requires editing one line in your XF86Config-4 to get going once installed. Good luck.
