I got it working.  Seems like you need to at least run 'make depend'
in the kernel, and this will generate the modversions.h file.  I
always get confused with what make-kpkg does and doesn't do.

Anyway, I got OpenGL on my old TNT card.  :)  And I just did an
'apt-get tuxracer'.  So cool.
