I recently got an Athlon mobo from Stan (down at the PC Training Center,
where our meetings have been hosted), also an upgrade from a K6-2 tho
mine was 350. Well this thing runs so nice, I can't wait to use the
onboard RAID once I can pick up some matching drives. The maker is
Iwill, and it uses PC133 memory and has really good OC tools in the
bios, though I haven't really played around with it much. It gets good
reviews (I recommend www.tomshardware.com in general) and Stan will
surely offer his opinion if you stop by to ask him... kudos to the ~ghz
athlon! Hardware prices seem so good now, it's easy to forget where new
hw prices could be in a couple years, gosh. Good luck and reply to the
thread...
