How do I set my access rights so I can access my CD-ROM? When I check my rights on /dev/cdrom it says that it is owned by root but user, group, and other all have read, write, and execute rights to it.
The /dev directory shows other with read and execute rights to it. So it seems to me that I should be able to access this CD-ROM to play music from it.
