i'm having a great time with evolution. wonderful program, good set of features. it looks way too much like outlook, though.
anyway, i am having trouble sending mail through it. i checked their support documents and followed their instructions to capture the commands as they were sent out. @home says they don't support the authentication type "Plain". it wants 8-bit MIME. what exactly is 8-bit MIME and does anyone know if it is supported by evolution? i checked google for a good hour and found a couple of misleading documents.
