Ever seen how good a cheap stick of RAM works under Linux? It sucks. Screw the software to make 'broken' memory work. I want good stuff off the bat and I'll pay the few extra dollars to go Crucial, Mushkin, or other high quality RAM. Also, PCParts aren't all that good. I only buy there if I need a cheap part quickly (such as the 'used' 4GB drive from and old Compaq they had. They didn't even format the drive with the old data. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't know how to. It came up with a VFAT error on bootup so I fixed that and discovered I had Office Professional and Win98 with other personal data as well. The joy of my excitement when I reformatted the thing. :-) Enough rants already.
