The following is just _my_ opinon and should not be taken to be any official
statement of the Linux User Group or anyone other than myself:

PC Parts Express is one of many little tiny places that sells stuff of
questionable quality, and gives little to no support. I met with someone
there, introduced myself and was given no interest of Linux. Fine.
His loss (and his businesses). I have heard thru the grapevine of pricing
games, including calling other businesses and charging less... While that
is
a 'fair' business practice, the support costs are of course, given no focus.
It'll be cheaper, but good luck with it.

Stan's place aka PC Training Center makes mistakes. No question. I just
had to bring
back a SlimPC that a DVD was installed in that the door didn't open
_because_ nobody tested it.
However, they fixed it as soon as it was brought to attention, and were
apologetic.
Stan isn't the cheapest place in town and doesn't CLAIM to be. Fair prices
and you know he will
be there 7 days a week. He will attempt to fix things up to his skills, and
he will call people if
he can't figure it out. (I've gotten calls from him once in a rare while).

Stan supports EUGLUG because he _wants_ to. He gave us a few _years_ of
space, and I thank him
majorly for it. He continues to get my support because I know I have his
support.

ComputerBase is another place I will buy from, because of Mike Owen. Mike
gives of himself and his time,
and the return is I recommend his service/sales to people.

The short sighted nature of places like PCPartsExpress is exactly why I will
not and cannot recommend them.
