I will, and risk that my comments are misinterpreted. I also want to state that I am *not* singling out the posting quoted above, it is merely the last in this thread and I am using it for context. With due respect to everyone on this list, the postings I have seen lately do not reflect the spirit of this list, the open-source community, or Linux. The audience for this list extends beyond the small group of people who post regularly, and I think it casts our community in a poor light when the bandwidth of this list is filled with bickering, regardless of the intention of the poster.
I hope many other readers agree, and I would point out that email is a limited medium that is well suited for discussion of some matters, while ill suited for others. Let's try to make good decisions about how we use it. Thanks, Kahli
