Seth I think this a coordination calendar is great idea. I know you were working on phpgroupware this might be a good thing for cooridinating all these groups. Your right there are sometimes the Portland meetings sound good. I like your Idea of connecting with these groups and doing something. Which brings me to my next point.
I think our computer expo was great but I think there would be a lot of us who would go to portland for a big Linux / UNIX expo in a larger market. Why should S.F., Seattle, L.A. have all the good conventions. Why not Portland? We have some tallented people in our LUG's and If we combined our eforts we could possible get some big name speakers.
