Since us EUGLUGers cover a broad spectrum of ideologies and cultures,
and since I'm seeing things not specifically related to linux pop up
on the other lists, I thought it might be cool to have more lists
(there easy to set up, right?) that are of interest to Eugenians in
general.

Mailing lists are always interesting and help promote a sense of
community. I'm on a beer mailing list up in Portland and
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' would be cool to get some Eugene discussion, and a
nice way to meet other folks with similar interests.

I'm sure there can be lots of other interest groups (SIGs?). If it's
outside the scope of Linux, we can always get recognition by putting
something at the bottom like:

------------------------------------------------------------
This mailing list sponsored by the Eugene Linux Users Group.

I guess the problem would be -- how do you notify other folks of a
mailing list that might be of interest to them? Maybe post a 3x5 note
card at a bulletin board at Paul's Bike Shop ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or
Willamette Homebrew ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), etc?
