Has anyone looked at the framebuffer stuff that's standard in the new kernels? It's on the LBT along with framebuffer X and it works pretty well. Or, and here's a sick thought GNUstep's Display Ghostscript to the framebuffer , it'd be sort'a like a NeXT box, only gnuer (like certain wildly popular gooey interfaced *nix from a certain fruitish hardware manufacturer) I just want an occasional picture, or graph on my console, why does it have to be so complicated?
