On a fast machine, OpenOffice can keep up with my slow typing as well 
as vi.  So who cares if it's using a few more processor ticks?  OpenOffice is 
great for convincing windows users that Linux is practical for productivity. 
I like to share "the beautiful gift of linux" with windows users.
