I'm new to Linux and am using Slackware 7.1 with a 2.2.6 kernel and the
KDE desktop. When I go online, I find that I cannot open any new screens
from my toolbar. If I log off I can open everything as normal. If I for
instance open a konsole and Netscape before going on line, I will have
access to these screens when I'm logged in. If I connect with kppp
without opening konsole or Netscape first, I will not have access to
these screens. I'm curious to know why this is happening and if there is
anything I can do to correct it.
