I determined that all I needed was a way to keep my messages on the server in one location (work) and download those same messsages when I got home. POP and the 'leave messages on server' was all I needed.
So I went with a POP daemon, and am using stunnel to secure my password to the mail server (POP daemon). I'm also getting into the 90's and using Evolution, leaving mutt behind. Mutt was great, but it looks like Evolution can handle my needs. Now I just have to get Evolution to use Vim as my editor. :) -Rob On Sun, 2002-03-10 at 17:22, Bob Crandell wrote: > I'm using imap-2001.RELEASE-CANDIDATE.1 from FTP.CAC.Washington.EDU with > phpGroupware, Balsa and Outlook Express as clients. > > Rob Hudson ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) wrote*: > > > >I'm at a point where I am interested in trying something different > >than POP.
