Did anybody catch the story recently about teh comparisons in streaming media programs? I think it may have been a slashdot thing and sometime between this past monday and the previous one. It compared M$ WiMP, Apple's Darwin Streaming Server and Real's streaming server as well as all the client software. I do know Apple's software was tested on a BSD box if that's of any help and the software did receive the highest overall ratings. No mention of it's use on linux though.
