This would work.

        #!/bin/sh
        startx -- :1 &
        startx -- :2 &
        startx -- :3 &
        wait

Runs all three in the background and waits for 'em to finish.

Also, I just set up my Woody box to run four X servers from kdm. That
way, I can choose the window manager from each display's kdm panel.

To do it, I edited /etc/kde2/kdm/Xservers and replaced what was there
with this.

        :0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :0  vt7 -bpp  8
        :1 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :1  vt8 -bpp  8
        :2 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :2  vt9 -bpp 16
        :3 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :3 vt10 -bpp 32

A video as a background? Sure, when computers get about 10x faster (5
years according to Moore's "Law").
