I think movies would be best in a window that can be controlled... I have
done animated images as desktops.. its cool, but kinda nausiating if you tile
your background! Under E! I use 2 desktop images, one centered in the middle
of the background... under BSD I usually run xdaliclock -cycle -root, which
runs the clock in the center of the screen, and the background colors
cycle... tres cool :)
