Well we have an unofficial linux meeting here in the fox cities on monday. The fox cities is the seven cities surrounding appleton, wisconsin along the fox river. We had seven people and it reminded me of the euglug meetings. There was 5 computers with 1 install, 1 kernel upgrade and 1 computer with hardware problems. One of the guys is a Debian,Sid and FreeBSD user. The others are just learning. The next stage is to get the word out there is a LUG in the fox cities. We had it at the hotel where I work in one of the meeting rooms. I think this is a good place. I was able to tell them how active I was in euglug. I was telling them about all the talented people who are in euglug. I told them about our DemoDays. They want to meet again. It was FUN. Some of them hangout on IRC us.chatnet.org under linuxhelp or computers. I thought I would let everyone know how things went.
On another note I rented Antitrust. I liked it. It made me want to support open source even more. I caught a gnome screenshot in one of the scenes. I was surprised. Tim
