I have several processes with a D status listed on the ps -ax output. This means "uninterruptible sleep (usually IO)" according to man.
How do I kill these processes? I have tried the usual kill [pid]command. BTW, This is on a RH 6.2 (E-Smith) system running as a FTP server and I really don't want to reboot the system if at all possible. TIA, Dave __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Y!
