However, it is true that with some *very* clever "learning to learn", one can pass through many common Bachelor's programs without becoming an expert in anything else but getting through college (or more often, enjoying being there more than getting on along). The benefits that Dennis wrote of are indeed *opportunities*, available to those interested. The opportunity to get a very broad education was inescapable for me, and continues yet...

If you know any Xwindows, there's a lot of computing fun to be had all around campus -- many student shun the Real Computers for something more mainstream!
