Hi Jamie,

I haven't re-compiled the kernel and to my knowledge,
I haven't updated the kernel with any update patches. 
If there was an update to the kernel it would have
been from SuSE and I would think it would not break
any functionality -- but that is always possible with
changes and updates.

Thanks for the info.  Another reason to start over and
not screw with it.
