Hmm.. now were getting somewere... At the time Im connecting to the firewall, 
Im not  connected to the internet, and ofcourse It cannot connect to the DNS 
server! I do have the box in my /etc/hosts, which is how its finding the box. 
So... how to I fix that?
my /etc/hosts.conf looks like this:
order hosts, bind
multi on
Doesnt this mean that it checks my /etc/hosts, then checks DNS for finding 
hostnames?
