Sure.  Any three geeks could build a clone of .mac.  But any three
geeks could not successfully market it so that anyone besides a few
other geeks would ever find out about it.  Other geeks are disinclined
to pay for things they think would be fun to build themselves.

The more interesting thing about your mail is that you seem to be on
the net again.  Are you?
