Actually given that AOL owns Netscape, and most of the core mozilla dev team are Netcape employees...

OTOH it's probably not in AOL's best interest to let Mozilla languish

But if you want to make sure, you should download the source and and start reading
and compile debug versions, testing builds etc.

I don't know what you are talking about. Mozilla won't be toast (as in history, road-kill, a gonner, bye-bye). On what basis are you making your speculation? It doesn't matter what AOL and MS do, they can do nothing to mozilla besides FUD.
