Cory Here is how I see it.
Mozilla's development is really driven by the 100 or so full time programmers at Mozilla who get their paycheck from AOL. I don't want to slight the many other programmers who make contributions and the users who help debug it, but its the full timers who drive the bus. I feel that AOL is only interested in its stock position and now that it has decided to use IE it will jettison Mozilla. Brian P.S. just when I was going to start using Composer's WYSIWYG web designing capabilities. I'll probably just limp along with it till something (OSS) better comes along. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Cory Petkovsek Sent: Monday, June 02, 2003 2:21 PM To: The Eugene Unix and GNU/Linux User Group's mail list Subject: Re: [eug-lug]OK, Ken I'll take that challenge On Mon, Jun 02, 2003 at 01:33:05PM -0700, BAGGAB wrote: > Preface: I read yesterday that AOL is partnering with M$ to settle the > browser lawsuit. Mozilla won't be toast (as in history, road-kill, a gonner, bye-bye). On what basis are you making your speculation? It doesn't matter what AOL and MS do, they can do nothing to mozilla besides FUD.
