I have turned off the SMC router for the time being and keep the NIC card inactive at boot. I will outline the issues on my personal web page and pick up the installation at a later date.
I hope the purchase RH 9 at a later date. I feel I must support the software by paying for it. I may wait till the 2.6 kernel is released. I understand it will have better graphics support.
