Mr O

I was interested in what you said about Canon. PDAs, like Zaurus, are cool
but I have given up on this category. I am still working with Winbloze and
Outlook mainly because I have a $500 PDA that I refuse to turn into a
doorstop. It might be cool to have a short list of things that work and
things that don't under Linux. I would consider administering this list. A
possible list of categories: Device (including components,) Linux Distro,
time spent, comments.

What works, what doesn't.
Nikon CoolPix 2100 - mass storage device. Mount it somewhere and
copy your photos or short quicktime files (no audio) off.

Canon S530D printer - under linux? Nope. After consulting
linuxprinting.org I've realized Canon and Lexmark are your least
favorable choices in new printers. I've fired off a few kind
remarks to Canon for encouragement in releasing specs or helping
out in the OpenSource community since they are active in Apple
support.

Still haven't quite gotten my Zaurus working with linux but I've
at least had it recognized so minimal progress there.

That be all for now.

Mr O.
