Bob Yes it is a PocketPC, bummer. I wanted that color display! Found a neat Moose head sings the blues though, at www.pocketmovies.net . I am seeing what I can do with the device and DivX. BTW do you play any songs from your devices, I wanted to know just how god awful slow my device was compared to others. It seems like it takes all afternoon to download 30 odd songs.
The List was a dumb idea. I've got to control my self when it comes to these dumb ideas. But there are too many things in the world. (-: Googling for "linux thingname" is still a good place to start. The information found is useful, but the dates on the information are more useful. If all the mail complaining "I can't get my thingname to work" are dated from 2001, that means Linux and thingname started talking to each other a couple of years ago.
