Well... I cant promise someone will be able to solve all your problems at the clinic, but we will surely try! Its a good idea to write the ideas down (or type the in a text file atleast...) so that you dont for get them when you need to ask them! Im fairly familiar with mandrake, I havent used it in about a year (I did install a few months ago, but the disks had a flaw and couldnt read some important files (like the X server!) so... Im familiar with mandrake, but not as current as would be nice.
Mandrake is a decent distro as its easy to install, but its got some problems too... for one, its not very efficient (like windows!), there will be other experts at the meeting in other distro's (Im a slackware guy myself), and we have several debian guys. those two distros are super efficient, and run quite fast. I also use SuSE a bit, and like it, its easy to use/install, has tunz of stuff (install from one DVD, or 8 CDROMS). I can bring my SuSE 8.2 Pro if you would like to try it.
