alo check out instantssl.com, which is under the comodo group's
certificate path; also rooted in geotrust IIRC...
They have a variety of inexpensive SSL certs, starting at $49 last time
I checked.  I started using them almost 2 years ago, for a client who
recently upgraded to a slightly-beefier package; it works
