I really like bogofilter.  It's been very effective with my mail.
(But I took the time to train the filters really well.  30,000+ spams
and 100,000+ tofus in the training set.)  The bogofilter man page
describes how to set it up with procmail and with mutt.

OTOH, spamassassin is the most popular filter.  EFN seems to get mixed
results with it.  I don't know anything about spamc/spamd or bmf.
