Hi Gang,I have been using Firebird for some time now, and i like its speed, its extensions (theres a developer extension out there that has lots of nifty features) and its tabbing. I also like knowing that what ever platform I am needing to be on, firebird is only a 9meg dl away.Fluxbox is light and fast. plus it has keyboard extensions and easy to modify menuing and themes. I recommend both.
Wayne K9DI es LD Patriot here. I just wanted to drop a note letting the group know how happy I am with Firebird. It's as fast or faster than my beloved Konqueror and a damn sight faster than Mozilla itself (as far as I can tell). I haven't run it against galeon or opera yet. I've got to figure out how to get opera on my debian system...:) DISCLAIMER: While I do most of my browsing with lynx. IMHO still the fastest browser on the web, bar NONE! Firebird might just become my favourite graphical browser. During the rare times I boot into M$ I avoid IE like the plague cos some site has highjacked the homepage slot and I can't figure out how to give myself the privs to change it to what I want. Upshot is I use Opera, and like it's tabs instead of it opening more browser windows to clutter up my taskbar...:) Guess I'll stop blathering now...:)
Question: how userfriendly is fluxbox?
