The drag/drop disks, as Mr. O mentioned, probably have UDF filesystems. "Regular" CDs have ISO9660 filesystems. How are you trying to mount the CD? I have had some problems with some of the XP > drag/drop discs working in anything but the CD R/RW drive, when I am in > windows. Some CD drives have trouble with certain CD media.
