We use ATG at home.  Their reliability record is okay.  I haven't kept
downtime records, but they've probably had three or four failures a
year that are their fault (as opposed to Qw*st's or nature's fault).
When the problem is their fault, they've been responsive and quick.
Usually, we don't even call them, we just wait a few minutes.

The first person who came to our house after last month's snowstorm
was the ATG repairguy.  We'd called in that our DSL line was down
before we realized that everything else was down too.  So he drove 15
miles through the snow to our house, and met us at the end of the
driveway where we were clearing the fallen tree.

That was the third time he'd come to our house.  First time was to
install, and I can't remember the particulars of the second.
