Hi,

Almost everyone in town is doing digital broadcasting whenever their
analog transmitter is also on - but usually it's only in "High
Definition" when the station's network is sending HD. Where I work
(KEZI), that means only during "Prime time" and some special events,
(usually sports) like the Stanley Cup playoff that just concluded.

Comcast is also passing along the local stations in digital, but as
someone else mentioned, you have to have the digital package to get
them.

Just bear in mind, HDTV means Digital, but Digital does NOT
necessarily mean HDTV. There is a lot of digital TV out there where
the compression is turned up so high (to fit more channels in the
available bandwidth) the artifacts are pretty bad.
