I'm using these guys. I have cable at home and use their dns feature. I host my own mail and web. I've been using them since getting adaptableit.com. Never had a problem (except being ansy about the first propagation :). Their web site and control interface isn't very pretty, but it is clear and works fine. I have not used any other service. I have not needed to.
