[Eug-lug] linux for mac pc from disk

hi guys! still would like to get a hold of some version of linux i can 
run from disk on my powerbook g4. any ideas please? i know since i'm 
running osx i don't need linux but i still would like to learn about 
linux and use it! please let me know. nothing too crazy though i'm a 
newbie remember?
