Does anyone here have an infrared pyrometer? I would like to borrow
one for a couple of days to do some computer cooling experiments.

I've seen handheld units for under $100, but don't own one.

What I'm thinking is that I can put an object, maybe a piece of
cardboard, in the case fan airflow and measure its temperature with
the pyrometer as a proxy for case air temperature. Does anyone know
why that wouldn't work?
