Haven't heard of these, but they're Dragonball CPUs with 2mb of RAM and a 4 level grayscale screen. So it seems they're a lot like the early generation PalmPilots. I'm not sure if I'd pay $99 for one, as there are much more powerful devices as cheap or just a little more than this one.
I wonder if these deals run a ucLinux variant and therefore lack an MMU, which would suck seriously. I'm unsure if this Dragonball cpu has an MMU or not. Oh what I wouldn't do for a Tungsten C with a stable version of Linux on it, with the keyboard and wireless working... /per On Sat, 04 Dec 2004 20:16:34 +0000, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Anyone heard /experienced anything about these? > http://www.powerplaydevices.com/products/ppvs_info.html > John F. > _______________________________________________ > EUGLUG mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug > _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
